Step 1 – Install the app
Click Install from the Zendesk Marketplace. You’ll be redirected to your Zendesk Admin Center (ensure you have admin rights). The app is named Translator AI by default, but you can rename it if you’d like. Apply any role or group restrictions if needed. Click Install again to complete the setup.
Step 2 – Where to find the app icon
After installation, the Translator AI icon appears directly in the ticket editor toolbar inside Zendesk. You can access it while writing or reviewing ticket messages, right where agents already compose replies.
Step 3 – Using the app
Open any ticket. If the ticket editor contains text → click the Translator AI icon to translate it into the customer’s language. If the ticket editor is empty → click the icon to translate the most recent public customer message into your language, added as an internal note.
