Step 1 – Install the app
Click Install from the Zendesk Marketplace. You’ll be redirected to your Zendesk Admin Center (ensure you have admin rights). The app is named Responder AI by default, but you can rename it if you’d like. Apply any role or group restrictions if needed. Click Install again to complete the setup.
Step 2 – Locate the App Icon
Once installed, the Responder AI icon will appear directly in the ticket editor toolbar inside Zendesk.
Agents can access it while drafting messages — right from the space where they already write replies.
Step 3 – Using the app
Open any support ticket.
Type a simple instruction such as:
- “Apologize and say it’s fixed”
- “Respond and say yes”
- “Provide a friendly clarification”
Then click the Responder AI icon.
The app instantly produces a polished, context-aware reply based on your command and the latest customer message — letting agents respond in just seconds instead of minutes, boosting productivity by up to 10× while improving customer communication and engagement.
